Part one of Wessex's Teak Cleaning System is designed to take away the natural silver colour that teak develops into over time, bringing it back to the straw colour it originally was.

When using Wessex Teak Cleaner for the first time, you will notice that it will make the teak wood go dark brown in colour. As you apply the teak cleaner with a sponge or brush, you will also notice the dirt and muck coming off. After you have finished application and begin to rinse off with water, you will see dirty brown water running off the teak.
