Also known as a CAV filter, this diesel fuel water separator is suitable for installation between the fuel tank and engine. The lower part of the filter contains a bowl which shows whether water or other impurities such as diesel bug are present in the fuel, whilst on the bottom a drain plug will drain out any water or contamination present. This makes it easy to detect whether or not water or other impurities have been accumulated.
