After the huge success of Rocna's original anchor, designer Peter Smith was approached by customers seeking an anchor with the same exceptional holding power and setting performance that the original anchor offered, but who had difficulties accommodating the roll-bar design into their bow. Years of testing and development have resulted in this, the Rocna Vulcan Anchor.
Rocna's Vulcan Anchor sets the bar for performance and consistency when it comes to anchors. Many finely tuned design elements enrol into one, resulting in a quick and reliable anchor that performs extremely well across a range of seabeds.
An innovative roll-palm bar has been introduced at the rear of the fluke, self-righting the boat anchor on the seabed without the use of a roll bar. The V-Bulb extends the fluke ballast downward to gain maximum leverage and efficiency, therefore permitting a larger fluke surface area than other designs that rely on dead weight. Rocna̢¢s Vulcan Anchor is a shank shape, which encourages self-launching and self-stowing when retrieving on the majority of bow rollers. A liquid smooth action ensures ease of use for all operators.
The anchor is made from a high tensile steel, finished with the highest detail and quality levels. Thanks to computer optimized I-beam geometry, resistance to bending is vastly improved. This feature not only looks good but further improves performance, with the lower V edge having the ability to cut into the seabed, minimising resistance to a deep and secure burial.
This anchor comes with a lifetime warranty against breakage, bending and any manufacturing defects.
