Raymarine's Quantum Radar sets the new standard for a compact solid state radar, delivering superior radar imaging from 24 nautical miles to just 6 metres. The Raymarine radar has an energy efficient and lightweight design that provides safe radiated emissions and substantially reduced power consumption.
Quantum contains FLIR's exclusive ATX advanced target separation technology that displays targets like boats, landmarks, rocks, buoys and weather cells with unsurpassed resolution and separation quality. In addition, CHIRP pulse compression ensures more energy reaches each target, resulting in superior imageing on long ranges. The pulse compression technology also provides excellent short-range detection and enhanced target detail, identifying small, weak targets with a 18ft (6m) range, even when positioned close to strong returns.
The boat radar is very easy to install using a simple WiFi connection between the radar and any Raymarine LightHouse 2 powered multi-function display. The small diameter power cable is easy to route through tight spaces, and when setup, Quantum solid-state technology is ready to use in seconds, without any lengthy warm up period.
Key Features:
24-mile range for early detection of traffic, navigation aids, landfall and weather.
CHIRP Pulse compression ensures more energy reaches each target, resulting in superior imaging on long ranges.
Extended vessel battery life when under sail.
Identifies small, weak targets, even when positioned close to strong returns.
Perfect for sailboats, RIBs and smaller powerboats.
Safe emissions thanks to Quantum's low power solid state radar transmitter.
Solid-state technology is ready to use in seconds, without any lengthy warm up period.
Superior interference rejection eliminates noise from other radars.
Very low power consumption - just 17 watts transmit and 7 watts standby.
Weighs 50% less than traditional magnetron radars.
