This ventilation tape is ideal for use in engine rooms and compartments when sealing joints in ventilation hose and ducting, or as a temporary exhaust bandage (up to 120C). The tape is resistant to flame, moisture, weather, UV degradation and an array of other chemicals. It can also be used for many other applications including heat shielding or joining foil faced insulation panels.

The soft aluminium foil is backed with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive which bonds to a variety of surfaces including woods, metals and plastics. Thanks to its conformability, the tape can seal against irregular surfaces.

For heavier duty applications, we recommend opting for the reinforced tape.
