A non-drip gel that quickly cleans and removes ugly waterline marks and hard limescale build-up. The gel restores whiteness to fibreglass hulls and, unlike similar products, is easy to wash off by hand or pressure washer. In addition, the stain removing gel can also be used to remove rust on metals and does not contain ingredients which accelerate metal corrosion.
Thanks to its green colour, it's easy to see where the stain remover has been applied; and when applied, the gel formula clings to the surface (even underneath hulls) and works within 10 minutes. The boat cleaner can also be used on teak decks to brighten the wood.Â
How to use Oxford Stain Removing Gel:
- Before application, Oxford recommend you use Boat Wash N Wax to remove any dirt.
- Apply the gel with a 2" paint brush to the hull and areas in need of restoration. Watch as the hull returns to its original colour.
- Leave on for approximately 10 minutes (ambient 10 deg Celsius) then simply wash off with a sponge and fresh water.
- For areas of lime scale build-up, apply light pressure with a sponge or cloth and watch the scale dissolve away.
- For areas of very heavy build up, repeating this process may be necessary.
- Leave for a few minutes before scrubbing the wood and rinsing off with water.
