The ODEO Distress Flare is the next generation of Electronic Visual Distress Signal Device (eVDSD). Designed for more personal use than the MK3; its lightweight, safe performance means that it is incredibly useful for any outdoor activity. Thanks to its smaller size, ODEO is perfect for sailing, kayaking, hiking, mountaineering and even diving (tested to 75 metres for one hour), so any activity can benefit from carrying a distress flare, without the unwanted dangers.

The new design has all of this built in and as its ODEO, it comes with a simple to operate activation, built SOS signal and user replaceable batteries. Furthermore, the distress flare can be safely posted or carried in baggage on flights.
