A wireless wind system with a masthead transmitter powered by an internal battery which is charged from ambient light using small solar panels. When fully charged, the boat wind system is capable of two thousand hours of full operation in total darkness, so a few dull days will not affect performance.

The masthead transmitter sends data wirelessly to the base unit, which is powered by the vessel's 12V supply - the base unit receives wind speed and direction data from the masthead transmitter and sends it to the Nasa Clipper Wind display or any other compatible NMEA display unit.

The 110mm x 110mm screen display is exceptionally clear, with 60 segments for full 360 degree direction indication. In addition, the display also shows apparent wind speed and direction - plus, when connected to a log or GPS will also show true wind speed and direction.

Key Features:

Easy installation with mast in place €€œ no wires to run down.
