How is the Dyneema rope constructed?
8mm is 24 plaited, whilst 10mm and up is 32-plaited. All sizes have a Dyneema SK78 core with XTR Grip Coating. The cover is 50% Vectran and 50% polyester.
What is the working stretch of the rope?
< 1%.
What are the benefits of dyneema rope?
Dyneema is an ultra-strong, low stretch fibre that is stronger than steel. Asà dyneema ropeà does not absorb water, it remains light even when wet. It's also UV resistant, non kinking and non corrosive. As dyneema rope is chemically inert, it's unaffected by wet, salty and humid conditions.
