This traditional yacht varnish from International is easy to apply and has great gloss retention. The gloss varnish is suitable for both interior and exterior use and has fantastic UV resistance. It̢¢s easy to apply over any type of existing varnish and is easy to re-coat. Once application is complete, expect a high clarity finish which is especially suited to lighter colour timbers.

How can Original Varnish be applied?
It can be applied with a brush, paint roller, airmix, airless spray or conventional spray although it is recommended that application via airmix, airless spray or conventional spray is only done by professionals. A minimum of three coats are recommended.
How long should I wait in-between coats?
If applied at 5C ⬠Minimum of 36 hours, maximum of 5 days.
15C ⬠Minimum of 24 hours, maximum of 4 days.
23C ⬠Minimum of 16 hours, maximum of 2 days.
30C ⬠Minimum of 12 hours, maximum of 24 hours.
How long does Original Varnish take to become touch dry?
If applied at 5C ⬠16 hours.
15C ⬠10 hours.
23C ⬠5 hours.
35C ⬠3 hours.
What is the varnishes coverage?
Approximately 11.7 metres square per litre.
At what temperature can the formula be applied?
It is recommended that the varnish is applied with the temperature between 5C and 35C.
What type of wood is International Original suitable for?
All types of wood except direct application on oily timbers such as Teak and Iroko.
Other Notes:
Full gloss finish. Mix with matting additive for a satin finish. This product can be used both internally and externally.
