Hempel’s Non Slip Deck Coating is a durable, quick-drying, acrylic, semi-gloss topcoat containing fine granules for an anti-slip finish. The formula has good resistance to sunlight, water and oil.

How can Non Slip Deck Coating be applied?
Application can take place via a paint brush, roller, paint pad or spray, although spray is recommended for professional use only.
On a previously coated surface: Abrade, clean and dry the surface before priming with either Hempel’s Wood Impreg (recommended for new wood), Helmpel’s Primer Undercoat or Hempel’s Light Primer. Then apply 2-3 coats of this product, a thinner can be used if necessary.
How long should I wait in-between coats when applying Hempel Non Slip Deck Coating?
10C – Minimum of 6 hours, maximum of 6 days.
20C – Minimum of 3 hours, maximum of 3 days.
How long does Non Slip Deck Coating take to become touch dry?
10C – 4 hours.
20C – 2 hours.
What is Hempel Non Slip Deck Coating's coverage?
Approximately 9.2 metres square.
At what temperature can Hempel Non Slip Deck Coating be applied?
It is recommended that the deck coating is applied at temperatures between 10C and 20C.
What is the flash point?
26C.
