Hempel Hard Racing Boottop Antifoul 375ml

An antifouling paint designed for cold waters, containing a special copper compound and organic bio-active materials. The 375ml tin will take between four and eight hours to dry, depending on the temperature that you’re applying the substance at.

You can apply the Hempel antifoul by brush, paint roller, paint pad or spray and once application is complete you can relaunch your boat after just 24 hours. If you’re not in a hurry, you need not worry, as you’ll have six months to relaunch your boat.

How can Hempel Hard Racing Boottop be applied?

The hard antifouling can be applied with a brush, air spray, roller or paint pad. 2-3 coats are recommended. You can also use spray, but it is recommended that this is only done by professionals.

How long should I wait in-between coats when applying Hempel Hard Racing Boottop?

Five hours at 20C, nine hours at 10C.

How long does Hard Racing Boottop take to become touch dry?

Four hours at 20C, eight hours at 10C. Drying times double at a drop of 10C and halve at a rise of 10C.

What is Hempel Hard Racing Boottop coverage?

Approximately 13.5 metres square per litre.

At what temperature can Hard Racing Boottop be applied?

It is recommended that the antifoul is applied with the temperature at least 5C.

What is the length between application and launch when applying Hempel Hard Racing antifoul?

A minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of six months.

What primer should I use with Hempel Hard Racing Bottop antifoul?

Hempel Underwater Primer.
