Hempel's Hard Racing 2.5L is a high strength, burnish-able antifouling paint which gives a smooth racing finish, offering all round competitive performance.
The Hempel antifoul is specifically formulated for powerboats, racing yachts and vessels which are mud berthed. The product may also be used on vessels that are dry sailed. The Hard Racing Antifoul is suitable for use on all substrates except aluminium. Can be used in cold and warm waters.

How can Hempel Hard Racing antifoul be applied?
The hard antifouling can be applied with a brush, air spray, roller or paint pad. 2-3 coats are recommended.
How long should I wait in-between coats when applying Hempel Hard Racing?
If applied at 10C - a minimum of eight hours, if applied at 20C - a minimum of four hours.Â
How long does Hard Racing antifoul take to become touch dry?

Approximately 13 metres square.
At what temperature can Hempel Hard Racing antifoul be applied?
It is recommended that the antifoul is applied with the temperature at least 5C. Avoid applying in direct sunlight.
What is the length between application and launch with Hempel Hard Racing antifoul?
A minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 6 months.
What finish can I expect from Hempel Hard Racing?
Semi-flat. Final colour will develop after one week of immersion in water.
