AIS is a monitoring system of naval traffic, standing for Automatic Identification System, it is useful for navigational safety especially in difficult conditions that may reduce visibility. The AIS antenna allows the user to receive real time information about any traffic in the surrounding area. 

Designed to be rugged and high performing, constructed using stress resistant fibreglass treated with anti yellowing materials that protect the brass elements inside. At 1.2m long, the antenna is designed for both masthead installation and installation on a motorboat when used alongside any of the available optional mounts and brackets. The bottom of the antenna features a 5/8"x24 threaded attachment to the optional brackets and mounts.
