Part of Gill's sustainable edit, an incredible 98% of the OS2 2024 Women's Sailing Jacket is made from reclaimed plastic bottles and recycled fibres - without compromising any performance.

Perfect for a day out cruising or for a week-long regatta, the Gill women's jacket features a waterproof, windproof, 2-layer laminated fabric protective shell that is complete with fully taped seams. This advanced 2 layer laminated fabric has moisture-management fabric technology with a durable, water-repellent outer finish. Hydrophilic technologies efficiently transport moisture away from the skin whilst keeping the wearer 100% protected from the elements.

A high cut thermal collar provides warmth and full face protection, which is added to with an inner collar complete with chin guard. There's also a fully lined, high-visibility hood with reflective elements for 360 degree visibility. Deep, hand warmer cargo pockets protected by YKK Aquaguard water-resistant, anti-corrosion zips complete a watertight defence against the elements. The Gill Sailing Jacket also features an internal security pocket, so you can keep your valuables safe.

XPEL:
This revolutionary plant based fabric technology offers incredible levels of water repellence, with water simply rolling off the outer fabric without a trace, even salt water which can otherwise easily 'wet out' waterproof fabrics due to its lower surface tension. The XPEL finish is also stain resistant, so you won't need to worry about grease, mud, oil, ketchup or even wine, as they can all be easily rinsed away. XPEL can provide this outstanding level of moisture repellence without changing the comfort, hand feel or breathability of the rest of the material. 

XPLORE:
A two-layer waterproof, breathable and durable fabric that offers guaranteed protection and comfort. XPEL delivers reliable levels of performance in an array of conditions, where weight and breathability take priority.

Product Care:
Machine wash at 30°C. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean or store wet. Tumble dry low. After use, rinse in fresh water. Use a non-biological detergent.
