The Gill sailing trousers feature hand warmer pockets which are perfect for when the temperatures drop, whilst a 2-way zip with internal waterproof gusset and adjustable braces provide a watertight defence against the water.

XPEL & XPLORE:

As mentioned above, Gill's OS2 2022 Sailing Trousers include XPEL and XPLORE technology; let's take a closer look at what it is.

XPEL:
This revolutionary plant based fabric technology offers incredible levels of water repellence, with water simply rolling off the outer fabric without a trace, even salt water which can otherwise easily 'wet out' waterproof fabrics due to its lower surface tension. The XPEL finish is also stain resistant, so you won't need to worry about grease, mud, oil, ketchup or even wine, as they can all be easily rinsed away. XPEL can provide this outstanding level of moisture repellence without changing the comfort, hand feel or breathability of the rest of the material. 

XPLORE:
A two-layer waterproof, breathable and durable fabric that offers guaranteed protection and comfort. XPEL delivers reliable levels of performance in an array of conditions, where weight and breathability take priority.

Relaxed Fit. Cut looser with more room around the body. Ideal for layering over other pieces.

Product Care:
Machine wash at 30°C. Do not bleach, iron, dry clean or store wet. Tumble dry low. After use, rinse in fresh water. Use a non-biological detergent.
