Garmin's GMR Fantom Open-Array Radars highlight moving targets in colour, with a range of 6 metres to 96 nautical miles (120W), even in fog or rain. Plus, the boat radars deliver rotation speeds of up to 48 RPM for fast screen updates, or 24 RPM when in reduced power consumption. The Garmin radar has a 1.8 degree horizontal beam width that provides high-resolution imagery and high antenna gain to pick out even the weakest targets at a distance.
GMR Fantom has MotionScope technology that uses the Doppler effect to detect moving targets and highlight them in different colours, enabling you to navigate around other boats or severe weather - or alternatively toward fishing spots where birds feed at the surface.
