Digital Yacht's SPL2000 AIS-VHF antenna splitter allows an existing antenna to be used for both the AIS and VHF (DSC) and even with an AM/FM radio. Unlike most simple splitters, SPL2000 can also be used with a class B AIS transponder system.
SPL2000 utilizes Digital Yacht's patented Zero Loss technology, which ensures the best possible reception and transmission from all devices. Previously, Digital Yacht have recommended a dedicated antenna for a receiver or transponder, but thanks to Zero Loss technology, Digital Yacht can offer a solution that simplifies installation, whilst maintaining performance.
The unit has four simple connections: one input for the main VHF antenna, and then further outputs for the AIS receiver/transponder, DSC VHF as well as an optional car radio output. Furthermore, the antenna splitter features failsafe technology, so should the antenna splitter ever stop working or lose power, it will not affect the main VHF operation.
Key Features:
12 or 24V operation, plus low power consumption.
AM-FM radio antenna connection for standard car stereo radios (integrated in power cable).
