Clean tabs D Scale is a safe, effective way to remove limescale and rust deposits, plus clean the interior surfaces of water heaters. Ideal for hot water systems in caravans, motor homes and boats, the non-corrosive formula is safe to use on stainless steel, copper, brass and plastics, leaving no odour.

D Scale contains citric acid, which is a naturally occurring organic fruit acid especially found in fruits, such as lemons and oranges. Periodic use of D Scale in the water heater will avoid mineral deposits building up, improving the efficiency and extending the life of the equipment.

Directions for Use:

Use Rate: 500ml D Scale in 10-15 litres of water.
Descale the hot water system twice a year with D scale.

1. Open hot water taps and drain the hot water system. Close taps.
2. Turn off the water heater and/or immersion heater.
3. Mix the D scale with sufficient fresh water to fill the water heater in the fresh water tank.
4. Run the mixture through to the water heater and leave to soak for 3-4 hours.
5. Empty the solution from the water heater.
6. Rinse the water heater system thoroughly with fresh water from the fresh water tank.
