Boat Rope For Sale

We've been selling marine ropes for over 25 years, constantly refining our superb range, constructed from the finest materials including nylon, polyester and polypropylene. From our ever-popular braid on braid rope to our high performance dinghy & dyneema rope, every ship rope has been hand chosen by our highly experienced crew members, ensuring we only sell the finest marine ropes available.

Here's a quick little guide to the sub-categories within our Boat Rope category - more information can be found in our Marine Rope Guide.

Anchor & Mooring Line Rope:

High strength ropes that are perfect for mooring, or for use with a boat anchor. Within our Anchoring & Mooring Line Ropes category, you will also find an excellent offering of pre-spliced ropes.

Braid on Braid Rope:

All our braid on braid ropes are constructed from polyester, as polyester ropes retain their high strength characteristics even when they are wet, plus have high resistance against UV chemicals. As braid on braid ropes can withstand a large amount of friction, they can be used as mooring lines.

Bungee Elastic Shock Cord:

Bungy Shock Cord is waterproof, UV resistant and has superb abrasion resistance, making it great for outdoor use.

Decorative Ropes:

Our varied range of decorative ropes are perfect for use in the garden, on construction projects, in theatres, and obviously your boat. Our most popular decorative rope is the Synthetic Hemp Garden Decking Rope, as this has the look and feel of a natural fibre rope, but is weather resistant and will not shrink when wet.

Dinghy & Dyneema Rope:

Typically used on dinghies and small keelboats, our superb offering of dinghy & dyneema ropes are lightweight, high strength and low stretch. Dyneema is an ultra-strong, low stretch fibre that does not absorb water and remains light even when wet. Furthermore, dyneema is UV resistant, non-kinking, non-corrosive and stronger than steel!

Fender Rope:

We sell an excellent range of pre-spliced fender ropes for your boat fenders. If you need new fenders, you can get these lines free of charge with our superb range of Fender Packs.

Floating Rope:

Our floating ropes are constructed from polypropylene - a tough, hard wearing rope that is flexible and, obviously, floats! By far our most popular floating rope is the Floating Safety Line - a single braid multi-filament rope that has no core. Thanks to its high visibility, it's great for use as floating safety line, lifelines and also throw bags.

Three Strand Rope:

Three Strand Rope is a versatile rope that is at home in the garden as it on the boat. The soft and strong twisted rope offers excellent abrasion resistance and is very easy to splice. If you need help with splicing, our team can do it for you on request. Contact us via email, telephone or pop into our Rochester store.
