Perfect for use on dinghies, flag poles and motorboats, this lower mast mounted wind indicator has a built-in counterweight. The counterweight provides accurate indication of apparent wind angle and also stops the Aerovane from flapping side to side in strong winds, which is a common issue amongst other wind indicators. The masthead wind indicator has been shaped so it's large enough to be read, whilst remaining small enough to not create unnecessary drag.

The mast mount collar is made from a slightly flexible plastic, which allows the collar to be mounted to a wide range of spar diameters. To attach the wind indicator to the mast, use the elastic loop and stopper ball that is provided. Simply loop the elastic over the collar hook and slide the ball stopper tight against the hook.
