Perfect for use on motorboats, this rail mounted wind indicator is perfect for showing the apparent wind when trying to anchor or enter a marina. As the wind indicator can be mounted to a rail, it is therefore suitable for mounting in places such as the pushpit or pulpit. With the included mount, the Aerovane can be rotated for horizontal or vertical fitting.

Aerovane has a built-in counterweight which provides accurate indication of apparent wind angle and also stops the Aerovane from flapping side to side in strong winds, which is a common issue amongst other wind indicators. The masthead wind indicator has been shaped so it's large enough to be read, whilst remaining small enough to not create unnecessary drag. When assembling the Allen wind indicator, firmly push the Aerovane onto the rod until you hear a click. To remove the Aerovane, simply pull by force from the rod.
